Narrow Line Width NIR Lasers For Raman Applications
Shanghai, China -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/08/2012 -- Leading-Tech Laser Company has developed new narrow spectral line width laser in NIR spectrum for Raman spectroscopy applications. The main laser wavelength currently is 785nm and 830nm with the spectral line width is around 0.2nm (FWHM), and are available with output powers ranging from 100mW to 500mW.
Raman spectroscopy is one kind of main technology to analyse the liquid, solid, powder sample etc and little samples are needed to finish the whole examination. Because Raman would not be affected by the large water absorption effects, it can also be used to analyse aqueous solution. By using different laser wavelength according corresponding spectrum, the whole laser Raman spectroscopy technology is very useful in many industries. The inelastic interaction of the incident laser could define the Raman effect.
After long-time research on the market, Leading-Tech Laser company could offer high power and narrow spectral line width lasers with wide operating temperature range to support the Raman spectroscopy system to be robust to temperature changes. Also the low optical noise and the long-time power stability are ideally suited for various Raman applications which require wavelength stability and spectral purity.
