Wavelength Stabilized 785nm Raman Laser Has Been Put Onto The Market

Shanghai, China -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/07/2012 -- Raman laser is one kind of laser source which has a narrow laser line width. The wavlength used in Raman applications could be produced by different wavelength from UV to NIR.

Leading-Tech Laser now is offering various Raman lasers for the application of Raman spectroscopy which could be used to identify different materials such as liquid, powder samples, biological samples and so on. Laser wavelength is very crucial to the examing result of Raman spectroscopy. The Raman laser sources could be used to assist the fluorescence suppression.

The laser excitation at 785nm doesn’t lies in the fluorescence range and is able to detect the Raman. The wavelength is in the NIR spetrum, it wouldn’t give rise to fluorescence (because there is no apsortion would happen) and the Raman scattering could happen as normal. Leading-Tech Laser now could offer 785nm Raman laser for spectroscopy. The laser line width is 0.2nm FWHM and the maximum output power is around 550mW. Fiber coupling is useful in available to meet high demand request for not only in lab application but also in the industrial appliaction.
